This is part of my work for "Skies of Fire" , Issue 3, back in 2016, made to further "flesh up" the world of the comic.

They are a calendar showing the current year (724) and a peace agreement ending the "Lowlands War" which took place 12 years before the comic, but is heavily referenced in it.

I based the calendar's image on vintage drawings and photographs of North Skelton Ironstone Mine , in Yorkshire, UK.

The Accords were based on real nineteenth century peace treaties. Initially I tried making the seals in Photoshop, but in the end I found out it's much easier to simply make some blank wax seals out of red wax and photographed them and only make the images on them digitally.
