Heavily armored and shielded, the Nagato truly lives up to its capital ship image, being quite capable of shrugging away wholesale barrages and worse. The class' offensive capabilities are nothing to sneer at either, as the Nagato also carries some of the largest guns, as well as the most numerous projectile launchers and phalanx emplacements, in the Blue Armada's arsenal. Though this has resulted in a design appearing more akin to a weapons platform than an actual warship, the class nonetheless enjoys much prestige within its clan, whose denizens consider the Nagato a proud symbol of the Blue Dragon's might. Most notably, the battleship Ryujin serves as the clan flagship, as designated by Lord Fuma himself.
