The wars during the recent Bush administration were trying to stop the terrorists. My point was that simply ignoring the terrorists would be allowing something like 9/11 to repeat.

Well it's an easy thing not to get "Because YAY 9/11! I win here" just sounds like a random statement.
Bush might has gone to war after 9/11, but he let Bin Laden escape (I read in a paper "US misses three changes to catch Bin Laden") and then he abandon the hunt for a war over oil, it's a wonder 9/11 didn't get repeated. Living in Chicago, that thought scares me knowing that the tallest skyscraper on this entire land mass (NA and SA) is here (thanks to the Sears Tower, the World Trade Center didn't even last a year as "world's tallest building").
Really funny that in 2007, I made a poster that said "Vote for Obama so he can bomb Osama", because guess who was killed four years later.

The groundwork for catching Osama was set up by the Bush administration. Also, not all papers contain nothing but unbiased, complete facts. Countless things might have prevented us from catching Osama years ago.

Ok, but had Bush ran a third year (were that possible), I doubt Bin Laden would be captured since he didn't really seem to say much more about it after Iraq started. Obama on the other hand seemed to mention a lot about how he was really to continue the hunt.

Well with Obama, I can imagine things take longer to fix than to mess up, so America already head a long recovery a head of it.
I'm not sure, but I think with FDR, things started to get fixed by 1932, just before reelection year; I have to look that up again.

I don't believe in the conspiracy theory, I just believe that the 9/11 warning were just simply ignored or over looked, like with Pearl Harbor.

Both 9/11 and pearl harbor were attacks on the us people because the leaders of japan and whoever Osama represents decided to use violence over diplomacy.
