:: PERSONALITY ::

Positive Traits:
Robyn is a quiet person, preferring to listen over talking himself. He's quite the venturesome kid, not letting obvious problems or complications get in the way of his fun. So he's an oddly brave kid for someone like himself. He, as well as Rocky, are both equally excitable people/alter (in Rocky's case) and it's the kind of excitement they become absorbed in wholeheartedly. Robyn is a tractable person, which makes it easier for Slender to control and influence him- which, in turn, affects Rocky as well because he isn't safe from Slenderman's effects either.

Robyn isn't necessarily a confident person, but Rocky makes up for it. Despite being distracted quite a bit, he is very alert and ready. It catches others off guard because it seems like he isn't paying attention, but he very much is.

Neutral Traits:
Robyn is inclined to become restless easily, as well as uneasy- though that one is more controlled than anything. He is absent-minded- excluding his memory blips, he can be quite forgetful, and most things (loud noises, sudden movement in his view, etc.) will distract him from his current task or thought process. It'd be the same for Rocky as well, just less so.

He can get overwhelmed easily, more cases than not it'd be from large crowds and being pestered/made fun of nonstop in one "conversation", and whenever he gets very overwhelmed, it's Rocky's time to shine to switch it around. His slyness comes straight from Rocky, as does his opportunistic trait (though he's partially opportunistic himself when it comes to adventures and getting to the bottom of things (which ultimately lead to his downfall)).

Negative Traits:
Robyn is emotionally sensitive and gets his feelings hurt easily (which then fuels onto Rocky's apathy and aggressiveness, if there ends up being a switch during that time). He tends to act on his feelings (sadness, anger, annoyance) and does so without thinking about it, making him an impulsive person.

Rocky is equally as impulsive as Robyn is, just more so. He's assertive, which ties into his confidence, and is forceful about stating his decisions and opinions without doubt or fear of doing so, making sure he is heard, and making his entire personality forceful and full of confidence. A little too much confidence. His nature is entirely being aggressive and very apathetic towards people (animals tend to be an exception for him). Rocky is known to be brash and very cocky as well, thinking he's top stuff and better than the rest.

Likes:
- sharks (if it wasn’t obvious)
- sewing (learned from his biological dad, and then expanded upon from Ben (one of his foster parents))
- mechanics (he always helped his foster parent (Carl) with his mechanic jobs/projects all the time and he gained a knack for it)
- adventures
- drawing
- soccer
- animals

Dislikes:
- loud sounds
- large crowds
- his first foster parents
- his impulsiveness and lack of care (of himself)
- the ones who hurt animals (they deserve death, in his opinion)

Fears:
- loud sounds
- fireworks (they sound very close to that sound)
- closed-in spaces
- disobeying Slenderman (even Rocky shares this fear)

Strengths:
- speed
- agility
- stealth
- deception
- determination (hard for him to give up a chase)
- dedication and persistence

Weaknesses:
- sensitive hearing (he's always had it since that night)
- his memory blips
- his tinted goggles (might not be the most ideal thing to use at night)
- his lack of body mass (as in: he's not built like a brick house)
- takes blame for things he didn't do (a personal weakness)
- his passiveness

Habits:
- rambling when nervous
- explains things too much (even if it doesn't need explaining)
- getting mad / set off easily
- questions almost everything
- apologizing too much
- stuttering (especially when nervous)
- analyzing others (was part of his 'job' but constantly does it unintentionally)
- moving even when standing still/in the same place

:: INTO THE RELATIONSHIPS::

Morgan and Daisy MacKenzie || Biological Parents || He remembers a bit about them, before they were killed. He knows enough to very much miss them. They loved him a ton, and vis versa with Robyn.

Brent and Melonie Brown || First Foster Family || Robyn never liked them. They were mean, brutal, and hurt him and the other kids. He doesn’t regret getting them locked away, that’s for sure. Well, now that he understands what had happened (considering he was too young to understand it before).

Carl and Benjamin ("Benny") Gonnering || Second Foster Family || A lot nicer than the previous ones, Robyn liked them a lot! They were caring towards him, giving it their all to adjust to his mental condition and past. Had Robyn remembered, he would’ve gone back to see them, to let them know he’s fine. But it’s way too risky either way. He doesn’t want harm to come to them, they’re the only people he cares about so he’d never want to hurt them or cause them to get hurt.

Ophelia || Dog / Best Friend || He found Ophelia by some trash as a newborn puppy and took her home to take care of her (since she was sick and weak). He was given the approval to keep her, so he gave her the name Ophelia. Although, she wasn't even a year old when Robyn disappeared. It was only when he was sixteen that he found a dog in the forest whilst on a mission, who just happened to be Ophelia. Cue a happy reunion between the two best friends. Ophelia currently still lives with the Gonnerings, but she will always venture out to see Robyn, and to protect him.

Frankie Banasiewicz (“Bana-say-witch”) | Therapist | Her last name always confused him and he could never say it, but that's besides the point. She was fine for the most part, but he thought she didn’t understand him or take the things he said into consideration. She seemed really keen on trying to diagnose him with more “problems”, as he called them. But she was still nice and was always concerned for him and his wellbeing. He thought of her like an aunt or a motherish-figure.

:: BACKSTORY ::

Childhood:
Robyn was born to Morgan and Daisy MacKenzie, a perfect boy for the loving couple. They treated Robyn like he was their world. So they immediately threw themselves to help with Robyn's cleft lip and palate condition, to make it easier for him. Due to the expensiveness of surgery, they had to work hard to earn the money for it (as they weren't your typical rich couple). He was able to get cleft palate surgery when he was nearly 2 years old, as they had earned enough to have it happen. It came out as a success and Robyn couldn't be doing any better! There was obviously the problem with the lip part of it, but it seemed he was doing much better with what he got done. He was able to start school as soon as he was four-years old.

Not long after starting school, a few months at most, someone broke into their home and murdered his parents, and almost him as well. It was nighttime and his parents were still up while Robyn was sleeping since he had school tomorrow, but he was woken up by loud sounds and his mother screaming. He's never heard her sound like that before so he was immediately scared, so he went to make sure his parents were fine. He got out in time to watch his parents get shot, the loud sound startling him into complete terror when he noticed his parents on the ground, not moving, while blood was pooling around them (though young him didn't understand the importance of blood yet (the graveness of losing a lot of it)). The one who killed them noticed him and aimed at him, but the sudden sound of police sirens made the murderer panic and run off, leaving Robyn there as police came in to the scene. The guy didn't get far before cops overran him and was immediately arrested. The rest was a blur until he suddenly didn't remember what happened. All that had happened that night was basically wiped from his memory the next morning. Thankfully, his age qualified to have a child psychiatrist/therapist, so he was scheduled to have his first meeting with one while also putting Robyn in the system and getting him a foster person(s) who would take him in as a foster child.

The ones who first took him in happened to be Brent and Melanie Brown, who seemed very nice during Robyn's first meeting with them.  But within the first week, their true colors showed- more accurately, what the other foster kids were like when he met them. And he experienced what their "true colors" were. He got yelled at for playing too loud or asking too many questions, he got punished for accidentally spilling a glass of water, he was always belittled... the list goes on. He didn't like getting hit by them, it hurt a lot. He missed his parents, but he knew full-well that they weren't coming back- despite not remembering the incident (which his therapist deemed was called "Dissociative Amnesia"). Around this time, his Dissociative Identity Disorder became prevalent and his therapist, Frankie, got to see an alter by the name of "Rocky". So Frankie got to work on getting Robyn the right treatment for this. But it took money away from his foster parents, which is the only reason they took up the fostering position, and they weren't happy about it. They claimed he was faking it, despite only being a five-year old, and treated him with more disdain. At school, he noticed that his disorder made others uncomfortable- students (albeit older ones currently) and teachers alike. And since he was a "people pleaser" he tried to cover it up, although he was, again, only a five-year old so he didn't have any ideas other than lying. He wasn't very well-known in school, so it was easy to say that "Rocky" was his twin brother. If he ever spoke that name, he'd say it was his brother. It seemed to work, or they just took it as his overactive imagination.

When he was almost eight-years old, his foster parents, specifically his foster father, made a slip up. There was a visible, sickly-looking bruise on Robyn that his therapist caught and asked about. He never mentioned anything about his foster parents hurting him and the others because, one, he didn't understand what was happening (he only knew of his loving parents, he never heard of parents mistreating kids), and two, none of the other kids said anything so he didn't say anything. He trusted Frankie so he told her it was from Brent, thinking that was it, but she kept questioning him about it (ie. how long it's been going on, what they do to him, what about the other kids). With enough info, she reported it and the Browns were rightfully arrested. Robyn didn't know what would happen now, but it seemed he would be waiting to be put into another foster home. He was scared, he didn't want to go through that kind of hurt again. Thankfully, he didn't have to.

Carl and Benjamin Gonnering, and older couple, offered to take the kids and care for them, having heard what happened. Robyn was slightly untrusting, but quickly earned it through their genuinely caring nature. They were like Frankie almost, so that trust for them came pretty quick. He was happy with them as his new foster parents and brought it up to Frankie, who was also happy that he was settling in nicely. He ended up liking the two a lot, he completely forgot- or perhaps just completely ignored -what had happened to him in his last foster home. They were told about his condition, much to Robyn's dismay, but they adapted well to his, as well as other kids', conditions.

School was normal for him, except he had a tendency to get into fights with other kids (sometimes ones older/in different grades than him) and would get in trouble for it. Though, to him, his actions were justified because they would make fun of him or push him first, he just took it up a notch and punched them instead. Other than that, school was alright for him. Memory blips were a bit of a problem, but he's been learning to live with them, with Frankie's help. He even joined the soccer team and had a blast with that!

Adolescent:
Robyn is around eleven-years old when everything gets weird.

One day, while playing outside, Robyn noticed something far in the distance, making him stop playing to look over at whatever it was. Or rather who. It looked like a tall man, but he had no face though. That normally would send people screaming and running for the hills, but Robyn was just plain confused. Why didn’t he have a face? How was he able to breathe? How was he so tall? But with a blink of his eyes, the being was gone. He was still confused about what had happened and what he had seen, but shrugged it off immediately, resuming his playtime. But once the memory came up again later on, he felt very scared and queasy-feeling. It even appeared during recess at school, standing in the distance. It was talking to him. He tried pointing it out a few times but no one ever saw it, mostly because it's gone as soon as he gets the other persons attention.

He keeps seeing that creature again and again and again, until a year passes, surprising Robyn since it didn't seem like it was that long. He always drew the creature, and at one point showed it to his therapist to show her what he's been seeing. She tried diagnosing him with schizophrenia or having hallucinations in response. He knew what that was and he was mad. He was NOT crazy! Others thought it was his imagination, or a hallucination caused by his DID. He can't do much about it, no matter how hard he tried to convince, no one would believe him.

Robyn was practicing riding his skateboard, that of which he got for his birthday, and was getting pretty good with it, when he came across a tiny puppy by a pile of trash. He immediately grabbed the small puppy and took him home where, with his foster dads help, they helped the dog back to help. He practically begged to keep the puppy, who he came to love very much. With the promise of caring for the puppy, they allowed him to keep her. He named her Ophelia, remembering the name from something he was learning in Literature class in school. As well as learning it was the name of a flower that was in the garden out back. He gained a strong bond with Ophelia, playing around and sleeping together, becoming the best of friends. She helped him forget about the weird being that was stalking him and everything else that has bothered him over the years.

Robyn was nearing thirteen-years old soon and saw the faceless being yet again, watching him, as he had been for the last almost two years. Though his curiosity got the best of him this time and he followed that creature into the woods. He packed a bag, grabbed his dad's old butterfly knife (that of which he managed to swipe from his old home), his prized stuffed shark, even his prized skateboard from his foster dads, and other essentials. Robyn didn't particularly like what he did next, but he snuck his way into the attic and searched for Carl's stuff from his time in the Vietnam War. He had showed Robyn all of it, albeit hesitantly because he didn't want to remember- but it was for one of his kids so he decided to push the feeling aside and help him out with his homework -when Robyn said he was writing a paper and making a presentation about the Vietnam War, and Robyn remembered seeing Carl's old tomahawk which he was interested in greatly. He thought it looked cool and he heard Carl say it was completely unused due to the fact that he was sent home early because he lost his leg in an explosion, so he never got to use much of anything. So, with the mental promise of putting it back when he came back home, he found the weapon and stashed it in his bag. He told his foster parents he was going monster hunting in the woods. Used to him being a little adventurer, they let him go and told him to be safe and to be home by their set curfew, for supper. He never disobeyed it and always came home at the right time. So it was very concerning when Robyn never turned up, sending his foster parents into a panic.

At the young age of 12-years old, Robyn disappeared without a trace.

It is unknown as to what happened to him. Despite the “Missing” Posters all around, he was never found. But years later, there have been little traces of what could have possibly been Robyn. Though it never added up, as the ‘traces’ were from murders. It was impossible to put him in that scenario, as he was such a good kid. That's what his foster parents said anyways.

Powers:
- N/A

Abilities/Skills:
- Agility
- Speed
- Stealth
- Survival
- Athletic
- Awareness / Perceptual
- Perceptual Speed
- Numerical Aptitude

Weapons of Choice:
- Combat Tomahawk = He stole this from his foster parents, which he regrets immensely because they didn't deserve that, but he has it as a memento now. It is his main weapon.

- Butterfly Knife = This is something he took as a memento of his biological parents. It was previously his father's that he showed Robyn many times, which came from his dad (Robyn's grandfather). He smuggled it with him when he was at his former home, gathering some of his stuff with CPS workers helping him, considering he was barely 5-years old. Currently, the handle is slightly longer than his whole hand, while the blade almost reaches the crook of his elbow.

Mental/Emotional Disabilities/Diseases:
- Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD) = a brain disorder marked by an ongoing pattern of inattention and/or hyperactivity-impulsivity that interferes with functioning or development || He was pretty much born with this, only being diagnosed with it around the time he started school. It's pretty much self-explanatory, but he has the combination type of ADHD, so he has a problem with paying attention, his mind going elsewhere at any given chance, constantly daydreaming, gets bored easily. Very disorganized and always loses his things. His impulsivity is on a higher level than normal: acting on impulse, taking risks without thinking of the consequences, etc. He cannot sit still, always feeling restless and wants to move. It’s a terrible itch all over if he doesn’t and/or tries to ignore it. It all interfered with his daily life at school, home, social situations, etc. Now even more so, as a proxy.

- Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) = a rare psychological disorder in which two or more personalities with distinct memories and behavior patterns apparently exist in one individual. Also called multiple personality disorder || This became apparent due to the childhood trauma of witnessing his parents’ death and the not-so-nice foster home he was previously in. His only known alter is Rocky, as Robyn mentioned before, with the possibility of another. But mainly “Rocky”, who rarely ever calls himself that anyways.

- Dissociative Amnesia = a condition where a person can't remember important information about their life || He can't recall his parents' deaths, despite having nightmares of it that he can't recall after waking up, and some/most moments during his time with his abusive foster parents. He always gets frustrated when he can't recount what had happened during those times.

- Some form of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) = a condition of persistent mental and emotional stress occurring as a result of injury or severe psychological shock, typically involving disturbance of sleep and constant vivid recall of the experience, with dulled responses to others and to the outside world || This was more of a speculation on his therapist's part, because of his Dissociative Amnesia causing him not to remember the whole incident of his parents murder and then some. But he seems to react violently to sounds similar to gunshots or to screams- so the ear-piercing kind of screams and fireworks could set him off. In the case of his current state, if one were to hold a gun up to him specifically, he'd become very violent in a split second. He would always get nightmares/night terrors, becomes emotionally distant and withdrawn, etc. This would most likely fit Uncomplicated PTSD.

- Night Terrors = episodes of screaming, intense fear, and flailing while still asleep, often paired with sleepwalking || This started developing within living with the Brown’s, but expanded further when living with the Gonnering’s. He has had constant night terrors since his parents’ murder, but was left ‘untreated’ by his first foster parents who didn’t even bother with trying to help him. The Gonnering’s didn’t know what to do when they took him in, so they got him a new therapist (Frankie) that also specializes in that part of psychiatry. He still has them, even after being made into Slenderman’s proxy. If anything, it slightly worsened.

Physical Disabilities/Diseases:
- Cleft Lip and Palate = condition where the baby's upper lip and roof of the mouth remains open during development || born with a split lip that reaches his right nostril, and the roof of his mouth not being fully formed. He got the palate fixed, but was unable to get his lip fixed due to sudden circumstances.

:: FUN FACTS / NOTES ::
- Nobody knows if Robyn is still alive, as he had went missing a few years ago and never turned up (physically or dead body-wise).
- Robyn treats his, as far as he knows, only known alter like he’s his brother- purely just because he found out how people react to when he were to talk about him and needed an excuse if he were to ever come up. Which changed to his twin brother, just in case someone "met" him. Though he’s come to believe that he actually WAS his REAL twin brother, even though on record shows he’s an only child from his biological family. Reality seemed to warp whilst in the care of his first foster parents, who abused him and the other foster kids, so it was able to warp and convince Robyn that it was his "twin brother", as well as him being a young child at the time and having a big imagination.
- - He doesn't say it much now, since he has little to no contact with other humans
- To show the difference: Robyn is an odd, quiet boy, who is (was) kind and very helpful. While Rocky is a brash, cocky fellow with high amounts of sarcasm and impulsiveness. Polar opposites, to an extent.
- - Rocky won't reference himself as "Rocky" if Robyn already stated his name (as to why he's good at deception). But, on very rare occasions, he will say his name and Robyn would have to go with it. People assume he has some form of Bipolar Disorder with his personality changing suddenly.
- There is possibly another "alter", though his psychiatrist wasn't able to determine whether it was actually a different alter or just Robyn. It seemed to be a child who almost mirrors who Robyn was before everything went downhill in his life. If this one had a name, it'd be "Rudy" since that name was mentioned a few times in his sessions with Frankie. Though Rocky is the more prevalent alter, while "Rudy" would be a rare happenstance. As to why it was difficult to determine if it was an alter or not. It's still unknown currently.
- He’s very fascinated with sharks, if you couldn’t tell.
- - He has an old stuffed animal shark from his father when he was born, rather than the typical teddy bear, and he takes it wherever he goes. He still has it with him now.
- Robyn most likely has seen the missing posters with him on it, but he probably never acknowledged it, as he forgot most of what happened beforehand. Not in the sense of amnesia, but it just passes over his head and he doesn't bother to try to keep thinking on it. Possibly caused by Slenderman, but you can't know for sure.
- - Some people believe that he wandered off too far into the woods and somehow perished during it (drowned, attack by wild predators, etc), while others believe he was kidnapped. Those are mostly rumors though, since he had disappeared without a trace. The search has since branched outwards, to see if there's traces in neighboring areas.
- He was one of those kids who grew rapidly at the beginning before slowing down around his teenage years. He was like one of those kids who were 5'5" in 2nd grade.
- The Gonnerings were most likely going to adopt Robyn fully before he suddenly disappeared.
- The Browns were both conservative white Americans, while Ben was Italian and Carl was Native American. His biological parents were American with Irish descent.
- Robyn found Ophelia around the time he was 12, when she had barely been a month old, so she would be almost 5 now
- Headcanon: One day Robyn came across a dog, who was actually Ophelia, when he was around 16, and had a tearful reunion. Ophelia technically still lives with Robyn's foster dads, but will always take adventures out to find Robyn and journey with him on his missions. Nothing changed since he went missing.
