Hopefully this Christmas time I'll be acquiring a rack system and a trigger setup

Nice, dude. I'm a drummer, too, looks like a sweet setup. For a rack, I'd suggest the Gibraltar starter with wings, I've got 8 cymbals mounted to mine and it works great. Awesome kit, though, keep it metal!
