A quick stamp I wanted to make 'cause I couldn't find any like this.
Personally, while I do like Japan-related things, I prefer a video game made by them rather than a TV show. With my experience in mainstream anime, characters act too silly for me to take them seriously. In anime video games, sure characters have funny sides of them, but it's usually not their biggest personality trait. I prefer girls like Yukari Takeba and Yuzu Kanikawa who act closer to how an actual human teenager would act over bubbly, clumsy anime girls. I prefer boys like Junpei Iori and Yosuke Hanamura who act closer to my expectations how teenagers would act over anime boys who are blindly aggressive or gentle. Even if they aren't realistic (cause realistic character doesn't always mean better than a non realistic one.), I usually find anime video game characters more easy to take seriously than anime ones.
BUT this is my preference. You are allowed to have your own I just wanted to express my opinion and I wonder if anyone feels the same, not attack those who have the opposite preference.

I'm not saying "Anime sucks! Video games by Japan rule!" I do like the anime that I've watched, but I just have a stronger love for anime games than anime shows.

So let's all go back to our hobbies!
