Description
Ein Foto, welches ich als kleiner Junge gemacht habe. Ein Model aus der Zeit, als man die Japaner noch nicht als ernst zu nehmenden Konkurrenten wahrnahm. Im Hintergrund stehen bereits die Modelle, die ab 1978 nach Deutschland kamen. Der gelbe Mazda 1300 ist also, zu dem Zeitpunkt als das Foto entstand, bereits veraltet.

Model: Mazda 1000 / 1300
Ein Kreiskolbenmotor (siehe Mazda Rotary / gleiches Fahrgestell, andere Karosserie) wurde bei diesen Modellen in Deutschland nie angeboten. Die Mazdas mit Wankelmotor kamen erste 1978 mit dem RX 7 nach Europa.

A photo I took when I was a little boy. A model from the time when the Japanese were not yet perceived as a serious competitor. In the background are already the models that came to Germany from 1978. The yellow Mazda 1300 is therefore, at the time when the photo was taken, already obsolete.

A rotary engine (see Mazda Rotary / same chassis, different body) was never offered on these models in Germany. The Mazdas with Wankel engine first came to Europe in 1978 with the RX 7.
