Description
The color version of [link] which was painted in OpenCanvas as a grisaille before being imported into the GIMP for color painting. I think I might have spent about four to six hours working in color.

I still hate doing self-portraits but my evil life drawing teacher insisted on it in his class, and I've come to realize two things about self-portraits:

(1) they really are a valuable learning tool for the artist, and
(2) I really, really am tired of looking at myself in the mirror.

But hey, at least I don't have to pay me to model for myself.
