Welp, I think that some of you here will agree that the specialists' uniforms in the show aren't very... appealing. I've been wanting to try my hand at designing my own uniform for ages now. xD And finally here it is - my own design for the RF students, both male and female.
Β My first idea was actually to have most of the outfit black, but then I figured that it'd be too dark, so I left the blue color as in the original (though the shade of the blue is different, of course) and added white to it. And I must admit that I'm pretty proud of this. C:
Yes, you are absolutely welcome to use these designs. As long as you credit me, of course. I even gave you the color palette to the outfits, so don't be afraid to use it. ^^ You may also alter the designs a little, like changing the dress to pants or shorts, or give the girl a cape/shorter gloves, etc. Again, as long as you still credit me. Naturally, the gem color on the belt will change in any case.Β

I'm sorry, but no. The picture is meant merely as a reference. And it's totally okay if you don't draw it the exact same way. Minor alterations of the outfits are possible.

What do you mean? If the outfits were hand drawn? Yeah, it's my design and you won't find it anywhere else but here. I did use the base for the bodies, however, and all the links are in the describtion.Β

How are they protected from being slashed or bitten or scratched by monsters or bad guys? I never really understood why they didn't wear armour in the show...

Ahaha yeah, I was actually thinking about some armor too. But then again, armor is heavy, so it would probably be difficult for them to move around so freely, that's why I kinda left it out with the thought that maybe they're wearing something protective underneath the clothes. xD I've always disliked the specialists' uniforms in the show mainly because they're wearing some f*cking unitards. Now how is THAT protective?

Oh. My. God. Yes! There are SO many awesome people out there who do a better job than the actual writers. >.> They need to create some sort of forum or whatever for fans to speak their mind, oh they would get so much feedback! And hopefully, make the show better. 'Cause I personally stopped liking it after season 3/4 (well, season 4 was okay, I guess).

Ugh, ~Nina-D-Lux 's story line and plot and development for the characters in her fan fiction is ON POINT and impeccable. Literally. She should be allowed to have a say in what goes on and what doesn't, because I feel like the writers don't even care because it's a kid's show and kid's don't know any better. It's sad, really. My Little Pony's writers totally understand and appreciate and take advantage that the majority of their audience is older people and listen to what they have to say and it's a real shame that the Winx Staff doesn't do the same for it's older audience.
I don't know, I haven't watched anything more into the whole Harmonix/Sirenix season - I think I was almost at the end when I stopped. I've heard a lot of negative feedback from the current season, and it's to be expected. I really wanted this season to end with a bang, good plot, and stuff like that because it's the last one (From what I've heard, anyway) but they couldn't even be bothered to do anything with it. Disappointed, as per usual.
I think that's why all the private roleplays and groups that are in the winx community are doing so well, because they aren't given a satisfying story line or characters (for the most part, they've all blended into one person with 7 variations of looks - it's sickening!) and they have to resort to making their own happy endings and stories.
