Have you ever played or watched any of the Persona series? The first game kinda sucked, but 3 and 4 are some of the most popular anime based RPGs out there. Teddie comes from P4, which was recently turned into an anime. You can watch the anime on Anime Network's website

my family is all about watching anime but we've gone nowhere near persona or any of those corporations. We are more Bleach, Naruto, Death Note, D-Gray Man people. We watch the ones everyone has watched.

Oh, you would definately like Persona if you like those series'. 4 is about Japanese high school students who get themselves involved in a mysterious murder case that involves a world inside a TV. They go into the TV and use their Persona's to fight off the Shadows.
