Coal has a booming laugh and an easy personality. His smile is infectious and it is how
he makes extraordinary tips at a local BBQ and Bar. He hadn't been looking for the job,
but it was his regular haunt and they begged him - so he couldn't very well say no. He
brings in regulars which makes it a very "Cheers" situation - though it's a good thing they
don't know about his side business as a professional arsonist for the mob. Coal had always
been a fan of fire in ways that troubled his parents and they had every right to worry. He is
incredibly brilliant at cover ups, which garnered attention in all the right (or wrong) places.
No one has ever questioned how he affords his meals in an expensive city as a bartender
in a not-quite-dive-bar but not-quite-NOT-a-dive bar because they have seen some of the
hundreds that go into his glass, his trademark wink, and think no further.
