That is a most beautiful tree! Does it have a sweet fragrance? I am sending a link to the Mimosa, (often called a silktree) [link] that we have in the southern United States. It's easily grown, and often sprouts up everwhere. Its fragrance is unmistakably sweet. They also lose their plumes and make a big mess on the ground. Many people cut them down when they sprout up.
This one I've linked to was planted by my husband in 1979 or so. It was probably two or three years old when transplanted, so the tree is an old man.

We don't have mimosas, where we live. It's to cold sadly. But, indeed. It's a beautiful tree. The tree, Your Hus planted is so huge! Great! Say Your husband, he made a big work. Congrat!

very full on, reminds me of "wattle" trees we have, only they aggrevate the hayfever sufferers,,(not me though).I like how you've placed the tree on its side contrasted with the deep blue sky.i have an indoor plant called mimosa pudica, common name "sensitive plant".it has pink fluffy flowers.Might be from the same family.

Yes, it's possible. We know only the yellow version we met. In the country we live are no mimosas at all.
