I went to an iranian restaurant tonight, and I'm totally in love with the food.I ate as a dinosaur actually, and I already know I won't get any sleep tonight.
But it was soooo worth it! C;
Anyway I'm delaying my bedtime, in the vain hope I won't struggle too much later, and I took the chance to finish this human Soundwave (again from 's fic ♥)...

This time I tried to scan it with my phone, only 'cause I can't use a scanner anymore (and for the foreseeable future... == )
pps: yep, I did use a reference... But I've found the photo in one of my folders, so I don't know where the original comes from! ><

I love how you incorporated sunglasses with him. That's one thing I always remember about the original Soundwave was the blue frames that go over his 'eyes'. So I like how you kept a piece of him in this. He's HOT!

And I'm always whining about my pencils drawing 'cause I don't have a scanner, and even if I try to touch them up in Gimp and SAI, I still think lots of details get lost in the process... ==
But at the same time I'm more comfortable with drawing with pencils than doing directly everything with the tablet,so yeah... I don't know what I'm gonna do... ==

I'm kinda like that too, but I actually do have a scanner. The thing is that I can't sketch for shits with tablet, so everything you see in my gallery have started off as a pencil sketches of various qualities.

Seriously, I can't do anything worthy directly with the tablet... Even colouring's becoming a big issue...
That's why I don't know if it'd be better to do a traditional art course or maybe something more digital... ><

I thought I was the only person in the whole world who couldn't sketch anything with table, but now I'm relieved.
If you're having troubles with digital art, wouldn't it be logical to take a digital art course? That's of course my opinion and I want to be good at everything, lol.

I see your point, but at the same time I also think traditional art is more... rewardin. The way you feel the colours or the pencils'dust on your fingers, the smell of the putty rubber... I don't know, it makes me happy, even though it's more difficult to do something really "spectacular" (in no way I'm saying it's easier to paint digitally, 'cause I'm the first example of the fact that's not true... Just that usually if you do soething with a tablet it looks more professional than something without, but that doesn't mean one put less effort in the traditional piece... XD Ahah, sorry, I can't really explain myself here! >< )

Il ristorante iraniano è la maraviglia: ho mangiato tantissimo spendendo pochissimo, ed era tutta roba buonissima! Conta che a me di solito l'agnello non piace (almeno, come lo cucinava il mio coinquilino indiano), ma questo era semplicemente fantastico... Sembravo una vegetariana sulla via di Damasco che deve recuperare gli anni di assenza di proteine animali! XD
Quindi sì, io ci sto per questo menage à trois... XD
