I'm so happy you like my "lyric-series" and their clothes design (most of the time, I draw them with stuff I'd like to wear! XD)

I'm trying to study your techniques on clothing and details. I need to learn how to do folds and textures with just pencil work, but it is so hard. I'm one step above stick figures and stick trees. That make sense, drawing what you love to wear. Hmmm...then all my female characters would be in pajamas, yoga stuff or my dog grooming clothes. LOL And if I drew all my male characters in the way I like my fantasy men...they'd be naked. Which is not a problem at all! LOL

I don't know if it helps, but most often than not I use references for the clothes... Plus, I simplify folds and the likes! C; I don't intentionally use textures: it's only the way I use the marker, I guess, with long strokes back and forth, back and fort... xD And then I add some rasters for variety sake! C;

(and I'll confess than some of my clothes are inspired by a catalog of yoga clothes! XDDD Anyway, the idea of drawing naked men seems sound to me! C; Go for it! Less struggle with folds and other silly shapes! C; )
