Continuing with the "couple/pair theme" I had going for a while, finally a long overdue fanart of Sakura and Eron. Chang Eron is an original character from my fanfiction The New Trials of Card Captor Sakura. He and his twin are the descendents of the original Dark Ones. Perhaps Eron is the character that has developed the most over the four arcs... Or not... It makes me sort of wistful because I think all the characters have grown up a bit now that they are in high school. The picture was just a random sketch that I decided to experiment coloring with Paint Tool SAI. I wanted to give it a more watercolor, soft feel. I like the mood created. Sakura looks a bit doll-like, but I don't really know what Eron's thinking (even though he is my character).You can find my fanfiction New Trials of Card Captor Sakura at [link]
I have a new ending theme for New Trials with Maaya Sakamoto's Strobe no Sora up at: [link] -- I don't know if I should post some of the fanart from the video up--I did draw a lot of frames. My favorite frame is the one with Syaoran yawning, but it's blurred so you can't see it too well. Lol...

I've always been a fan of pastels, and this picture has excellent shades of violet. It does a good job of complementing Eron's hair too! I want to add this to the NT Picture Book Project ([link] ) but I'm not sure where....

ohhh I just realised that eron is wearing a blue ribbon...is it the same one that saku gave him from her cheerleading costume?
lol...imagine syao seeing this pic and deciding he wants to wear the green one he took from saku...but he has short hair so he walks around with a glum expression...then tomoyo walks up to him and asks him what's wrong...he explains and she has an "oh ho ho" moment, grabs the ribbon out of his hand and ties it in a cute bow around syao's head...whips out her camcorder with stars in her eyes...

eron's expression has "my precious" written all over it (gollum - lotr)
love the pastel colours...makes it feel all fairytale-ish (i made up a word ;0)
poor eron...when i think of his feelings for sakura it's like a 'loving desperation' because he knows he's just holding on until S&S are together again...
this pic doesn't show the "plz be mine and forget about Syao" look but it's more like a "you're mine now mwahaha - syaoran was gone too long and he lost his chance(even though u both officially 'broke up' ages ago, I know there are still feelings...I mean I came over and he was hiding in your bedroom closet for crying out loud - u didn't even tell me he was living with u...so don't even think about getting back together...)" look that's about to come up, after the pending confrontation scene ch65 ended off with
ok hope that wasn't too confusing. the writing between the "" is an explanation of eron's facial expression.

I had to lol at your gollum comment. "My preciousss..." Eron's such a gollum. Now, I won't be able to get that image out of my head. Poor Eron-kun.
Also, the ribbon comment below also made me laugh--it gave me a silly fanart idea. Gosh, I feel so evil because I like to torture all my character...

Hoee.. Eron looks so scary, like he's going to break Sakura-chan. I absolutely adore the colouring, since it looks more like traditional painting. Excellent!
I thought I had more sympathy for Eron, but seeing this picture is making me agree with Hana-chan's comment. X_X;

This is excellent! You have improved so much over time, I think this piece really turned out very lovely. I am not even a Sakura/Eron fan... but there is something irresitable about Eron. At first I didn't like him much because I was like "SAKURA AND SYAORAN ONLY!" but really after reading the whole series so far there is a place in my heart for him :]

:3! Definitely. At first I was so like.." omg I hate you! " Because he was the classic evil character. But now he is more like a real person who has feelings that aren't just one-track. He is definitely one of my favourite characters in the new trials. I want to see what Erika looks like!

Eron-pyon: Shaddup. The series is going to be renamed, Newer Trials of Card Captor Sakura, Eron and Friends. You've been demoted as hero. Go back to Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles and you can serve as another Syaoran-extra.

I think Eron has a huge amount of development! I've really been enjoying his role in the last few chapters (ever since the Ski Trip, particularly). Even though I rooting for Syaoran (of course!) I have a lot of sympathy for Eron and his genuine attraction to Sakura.
