.:: Where I Come From ::.Playing with light...

The title I chose for this photo isn't a random one: I've recently bought my first DSLR camera and have been playing with it for a couple of weeks already. However, I'm not posting shots taken with the new, powerful camera just yet, because I feel like there are still photos taken with my previous camera that may deserve being published. For this reason, I'm going through my archive folders, looking for pictures that I wouldn't want to go forgotten, and this is a good example of what I mean: this photo was actually taken in December 2009, it was one of my first experiments with light and bokeh obtained on purpose with the proper settings and focus. It was taken at sunset and hasn't been edited much really, only a bit of tweaking with the colour correction. So yup, this is where I come from: years spent using a bridge camera that may not be the most powerful tool, but that can certainly let you take good photos as long as you know what you're doing and don't just "point and shoot".
