The entire area is packed with this stuff,
But that particular area is like driving through prehistoric times. There is a sign up along the road that says that the landscape is estimated at 540,000 years old.
In driving the 100 miles of baron land, it amazed me that there was hundreds, if not thousands of ponds that looked more like man made lagoons that looked as though they were shaped by an artist.
I could not get any good shoots because i was on the same plain as the ponds.

This area is a peninsula on the other side of the island and I hold a clinic at the very tip of it every two weeks, but I never brought my camera or was always in to much of a hurry to get back home before dark and the moose started traveling the roads
Moose are VERY dangerous here and it is a little more than a speed bump when you hit a moose on the highway.
There are over 700 Moose/vehicle accidents per year here in this province and they result in about 9 deaths per year.
