Oh, I get it. In German you do differ between these things, but they´re both called fetish as there´s no equivalent word for kink, though kinks are more common (that´s where uniforms belong to, right?) among people.

hmmm the reasoning as to why/how I know about these things is I have pretty much been around the lifestyle since I was 17. by the lifestyle I mean the BDSM scene which is quite larger than most people think. There is also much much more to it than people's general idea/ perception/ stereotype.
I do speak a small amount of conversational German. I learned it growing up from my aunts and uncles and Mother. Our family is from the Munich area.

Oh, I realized by some time there really are many more people than I´d expect to be into BDSM . Propably because there´s some stuff like that out on DA . Between, does the "M" stand for mascochism or master? Not quite sure.
It´s nice to speak different languages from relatives. German is a very nice language... in my opinion

The "M" in BDSM stands for Masochism. Although I have seen some people use it in the context of "Master".
How do you know if you have a kink?... hmmm well...
For some people its just something they like that may turn them on strangely more than other things, oooor it may be some kind of fascination.
For example I have one friend that is into feet, another that is into pregnant women, one person that just really loves socks. It isn't always sexual. One of my biggest kinks is uniforms. My Fiance' has a kink for curvy and bigger women. I suppose you just "kind of know" when you have a kink.
