WOW! You have an amazing value scale in this piece! Did you smudge with finger or tortillon or material? How is the "tooth" on the paper? Your smoothness is beautiful as well as your high contrast!

You mean a blending stump?! Yes, I use at some parts of it, and tissue paper, q-tips, too.

I've drawn Natalie Portman. I can show you if you want. I just have to plug in the scanner someday... You tell me then what I can do better. I am not so used of drawing, I am always painting.

Wow, I am stunned! This is absolutely AMAZING! It looks like a black and white picture! What gets me the most are her eyes and nose. It's so real! And the sheen on her hair is extrodinary!
