A project I finished back in my last semester at college. It was for my Digital Illustration class and the idea was to design our own Tarot Card deck. We only had to do three cards since doing an entire deck would probubly take the entire term.I picked three of my favorite Jim Henson movies for my theme, with Augra (from the Dark Crystal) Jareth (from Labyrinth) and Valentine (from MirrorMask).
The concept for Aughra also came from a speculation of mine on what Aughra might have looked like in her younger days.
Done entirely in Photoshop CS4.

I got those three movies in a boxed set.
Ironically I had watched all three previously not knowing the connection between them.

Valentine definatly fits the fool character as well as Aughra being the High Pristess, but I do have to say...
Poor Jareth!!!! It's not his fault that Sarah wanted to have a villian just so she could be the hero.
With that said, even the Devil fits him on occasion

I love Valentine as 'The Fool'. That's exactly how I would have described him!
I love this piece! Valentine is my favourite and I love Henson films, so I'm a teensy bit biased.

I <3<3 Mirrormask, especially Valentine, he had some of the best quotes from that movie. And I'm pritty much addicted to anything Neil Gaiman rights.
