Description
Just 18 years of age, Chokoreeto Kukkii (Chocolate Cookie) is one of the many warriors swamping Sweet Vanilla Kingdom, battling against the rapid attacks of Lord Spice and Queen Pepper as they swarm the delicious, syrupy land with hotness and blandness. Her parents and many others had been held captive, unfortunately one of her parents died while struggling against the enemy, the other remains alive – Kukkii just doesn’t know who. With the help of her pet fox, Chippu (Chip), Kukkii must fight against her once-beloved sister Chokoreeto Miruku (Chocolate Milk), now known as Kuroi Koshou (Black Pepper) to restore peace to the kingdom.

Her head is draped in bandages due to her clumsiness, stumbling over items as she has her mind stuck high in the clouds, while one covers her eye – she never says why she has the bandage there, though. It remains a secret. She is a Neko, a fox, but was not born with a tail, strange as it is. This granted her both praise for her being unique and standing-out from the common crowd, but also mockery and harsh comments about her being “incomplete”.

She uses the power of her golden, polished spoon, which she uses to fight against, whether to hurl chocolate chips at her opponent, using Chippu, or to fence and strike her enemy with it like a sword.

She is strong, scatty, generally bubbly and always cheerful and free-spirited. Granting, at times, her attitude can vary as she becomes withdrawn from conversation and pretends not to listen – don’t take it to heart, it’s likely because she has remembered a piece of her past and doesn’t want anyone to see how she feels because of it. It is clear that she suffers from amnesia. Sometimes she will forget and her memories will dissolve like hot chocolate melting in a microwave – it is Chippu’s job to remind her of the task at hand. The only ambition her mind commands her to do is to strike down and defeat Lord Spice and Queen Pepper, her only memory being that of her sister, Miruku, who became contaminated and began living amongst the enemy, soon becoming one of them. When faced in a critical situation, she is deadly serious and orders others to find shelter to be protected – she is dear to those who have befriended and stay with her the most.

Chippu is Kukkii’s pet fox who helps her along the way. Although at times, because he is run down on energy, he doesn’t speak, when he does, he reassures Kukkii with chocolate licks of the cheek and praising comments, which pushes her motivation even more to make her finally reach her goal.
