Fun fact about Violet: Her voice is incredibly deep, which shocks a lot of ponies because she's such a tiny, adorable thing.

A little bit of her backstory:

Violet was born in Manehattan, and as a big surprise to her parents, she was incredibly tiny. The pony doctors said that she wouldn't even survive a few days, but she proved them wrong, as she was brought back home and raised like any small griffon cub. Though a bit frail in her childhood, Violet didn't really play with the other kids, and even when she tried to, they wouldn't let her, as she was one of the few griffons around. Even other griffon cubs wouldn't play with her, since she was too weak for them. Because of this, Violet felt pushed away, until she met with a young mare called Babs Seed, who helped her when it came to bullies.

Babs became quick friends with Violet, and even got her into hairdressing, which after a while turned into her hobby, and then career.

In her teens, Violet came out to her parents as trans (m>f), and they weren't very surprised about it, and supported her a lot, especially when it came to finding a job for her. Violet quickly realized that because of her clawed hands, it was easier for her to get that sort of job, since it was easier to hold a brush with her hand, than with a mouth, like a pony would.

In her life as a hairdresser, she would eventually meet Rarity, and become her local hairdresser, even being recommended by the unicorn, giving her a flood of new clients, gaining enough money to get her own salon, at which she would employ Babs, her best friend.

So, does anyone remember this:

Yeah, that's her. I finally changed her design, of which I'm more proud of now. For a long time, I really loved the idea of a teeny, tiny griffon, and I think I finally did it right. I looked at different races of hummingbirds, just so I could make it interesting, which worked perfect in my opinion.
