These neopteron inhabit the Wildspire Wastes and Ancient Forest where they feed on small bird wyverns and fanged wyverns. They bury themselves in the ground feeling for vibrations with a long second pair of antennae and then leaping out to grab and subdue the prey with its powerful limbs. (Top right Kabuqatal uses its arms to tear up large chunks of the ground and toss them at the hunter.)
