Saw this cropped so couldnβt see the skeletons and this came to mind:Β Β
βCome Yvane, letβs get you out of here.β She didnβt ask how this dark creature knew her name as he opened the cage and gathered her up, for at the moment to be taken away from the humans who cruelly took her wings, stuffed her in a cage, and barely feed; was nothing short of a miracle. Once out of the tent Yvane didnβt even flinch at the carnage before her, humans lay scattered about the camp grounds, slaughtered in ways not thought possible. More dark creatures roamed the grounds, killing fleeing humans, some foolishly begging for mercy but she couldnβt find it in her heart to care. Her treatment by the humans had only reinforced her fatherβs words βHuman can not be trusted.β βFor what itβs worth,β she muttered hiding her face in his neck and tightened her arms around his shoulders βthank you.β

Barren... That's how it was in the beginning, an empty void with no end. Most might be confused where they are, believing this place to be fire and brimstone, instead of sand and gray. Don't be fooled though, for if you try to leave, They appear... Hallow ghost in shells.Β They swarm,Β claw, and screech... hungry for what they have lost, trying to pull you down deeper into the darkness.
Among the lost were two... AmongΒ the screams, they were silent. Was it fear? Or perhaps, Guilt? That kept them still... Silently they walked on forward to an end that never seemed to come... until one day, in a soft, mystical voice, she spoke.Β Β
"Are you there, dear wolf?"
Gruff was his voice, yet as if heeding her call, he answered.
"I am, little lamb."

*sigh* guess I'll have to run with my sight.... Alright then,
Given the title the setting is elementary... Her injuries areΒ synonymous with other iterations of fallen angels, though the reason for her missing wings is unknown, other then the fact it was recent and it was a clean cut, no doubt still hurts. Despite this however, it appear that she draws close to her savior, this... "warrior of shadow".
This "Warrior", bares bindings of chain on his wrists, a criminal? Wielding a blackish-purple curved long-sword in his left hand, holding her high and close in his right. He appears to be roaring into the abyss, covered in wrappings through his entire body.
Around them both appear to be a depiction of "Lost Souls". While at first is seems they are only trying to pull down the shadow, it is because he is holding her high that they cannot, only able to grab the ends of her dress.Β
Quite the story if I can manage to put together....

Yeah the comic definitely goes into their relationship! I love it soooooo much! I feel like this piece could even be mataphorical for all that has happened so far! Regardless the comic is REALLY good!!!
