Man, this was a while back.

As I recall, the Colossus has an offset rotational center that causes it to rotate in such a way that it swings like a bat.

So if that's what you mean, yes.

Phasers can be used as melee weapons as well. Just watch Star Trek: First Contact. Worf, I believe, is the first to use the Phaser as a high-tech club.

It's not technically paint...and I think all but two of the FS comics were in the art forum, but the series ones were in other threads. I'm not enough of an attention whore to double-post 'em in the same forum.
