interesting did you know there were some real attempts to make steam powered gun nice touch making a closed loop system i would think using a atomic heat source to heat the boiler would kind of cut back the weigh. besides would think it would take two men to carry this gun given water weight 8 pounds to a gallon.

That was a problem I was considering in the original design was the weight, as it stood the water cooling was planned to only be needed if someone kept using the burst fire feature attached with the clip which regularly shoots at a semi-automatic rate.Β

If I may, what is the point of the boiler? It looks like it fires a full cartridge, so it wouldn't be steam powered, so I'm curious.

In the universe where it's from, the firing rate of most weapons is limited for one reason or another. the boiler is to allow for a consistent burst fire to occur over short ranges as the weapon is initially designed for semi-automatic fire.Β
