I work a lot with computers and being curious I took apart some hard drives. Using the disk platters from laptops and desktops I drew these pictures with a mechanical pencil and fine point sharpies.Related content

i really like these designs you create .i think they would be enhanced by more consistent color in the black arias . have you considered using black paint ,black copic marker, or India ink ? every thing else is powerful and well done. you are very talented

Thank you. I had not thought of using anything other than the mechanical pencil or the sharpie. I started doing these at work when I was waiting for something else to finish processing. I had thought about trying to fill them in with Photoshop after scanning them in.

photo shop is a great idea. it will really help bring out the pasterns of your work and get rid of all the inconsistent shading. your work is very good, and i think that smoothing out the color will take it to the next leval . i correct the color of all my black and white geometric work in ms paint so that the colors pop like they should .
