Description
This is, once again, only how I do my lineart. Its not correct or anything. A few people asked for a lineart tutorial, so i made one XD. Im not quite sure how a lineart tutorial worksOnce again, pardon my crappy grammar and typos XD.
why do i use a small brush size? I dont know. I just like thinner lines. Im not too into thick chunky lines and all :/.

sry if this sounds stupid but when i resize my lineart the picture gets cutoff is there another way to resize it so this doesnt happen

i believe you are resizing the canvas itself. Resize the image size, not canvas size

I have the full version of SAI that I just purchased yesterday and there is no pen tool on my

the legacy pen is the same thing as the binary tool(hence the pixelated lines). I think that for your sai, the pen tool is called "pencil". [link]

I was wondering actually, do you ever use the "Stabilizer" or "Smoothing" thing at the top?
Cause that's what I use so I can see what I'm outlining, in a pace I can actually see.

Well, honestly, I've never really bothered to change the "smoothing" and I always leave it at 10, since any more and my computer tends to really lag a lot if i change it. (<<< not a very patient person XD lol) I kind of like teh strokes to be quick, and going back to redo teh line if its not the way i want it to be. It really depends from preson to person

Depends on what you are using. If you are using a tablet, the pen pressure should allow you to make the lines darker when you press harder, and lighter when you draw lighter.If its not like that for you, then you probably need to edit your brush settings. (technically the trick to linearting with nice smooth lines is doing quick strokes, and not lingering on the lines, afraid to mess it up XD. Theres always ctr+z when you mess up

I do use a tablet and i tried alot of different settings but still won't work, i'm starting to think that maybe the tablet itself doesn't have the pressure setting

well, most graphic tablets should have pen pressure, but it might also have to do with your computer. For some reason, my tablet works on both my computer and my moms laptop, but the pressure just wont work when i try to use it on my sisters laptop :/

... finally!!! I never could draw on sai with my tablet or a mouse. I always do tradtional. :') Now I can do better digital. THANKYOU
