Description An alternate dvd-sleeve for one of the best movies from the last couple of years, "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang".

Yes. I was actually stubborn enough with my design that you had to hold the case sideways to read the title and check out the artwork.
Done with Illustrator CS3.

I figured it was a nice touch once you had seen the movie. And by that time, it isn't really a spoiler any longer, is it?

Thanks for the comment!

Hey man, great taste in movies! Anything to recommend to a fan of both Brick and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang?

As for the artwork itself: I love how I can "see" Val Kilmer in the silhouette on the left. Also, it might be inconvenient as a DVD sleeve, but I like how you kept the look of the title sequence.

Well, apart from being variations on the noir-theme, Brick and KKBB are very different movies, aren't they? So it might be kinda hard to think of something that fits in the same line as those two do.
As far as wacky comedy and noir combined go, "The Big Lebowski" and "the Singing Detective" are quite good. And Brick's Rian Johnson says he drew a lot of inspiration from "The Maltese Falcon" and "Miller's Crossing", which are both excellent movies. So be sure you've checked those out!

And the title sequence of KKBB is awesome. I'm glad my work reminds you of that great animation..!

I think the biggest sign that those are all great suggestions is that I've seen all of them
... with the exception of the Singing Detective where I couldn't find matching subtitles and wasn't able to make out what they were saying... :/

Suh-WEET. The hard, flat lines are perfect.
