Sorry..they're wrong. What I see here is a very cool, very retro-40's Wolfman. More of the 'humanoid-wolf' fusion they were going for in the old Universal films. Definitely not an ape. The feet alone give away the lupine connection here, to say nothing of the fact that the snout is all wrong to be considered an ape, especially a great ape such as a gorilla. Personally, I think this is fantastic, reminds me very much of the 'Werewolf by Night' comic.
