In the end I do not really mind what color Scar and Mufasa's parents are, but I do frown when people make one or both be responsible for Scar being the way he is...in my mind he is a complicated character that you just can't pin down really.

Yeahhhh
My Ahadi and Uru are pretty much good parents to Scar, they pretty much spoil him rotten even. I wanna lampshade the trope with Mufasa and Sarabi instead growing up under the "gotta make my parents proud" thing that usually Scar and Zira get saddled with if I do ever explore my ideas in a story one day.
