Short Description: Perseus is a big, thick furred and muscular male dog with orange [as well as subtly spotted at his chest and legs] and white fur, he has a distinctive star-like marking on his forehead that is partially hidden by his trademark green bandanna. His ears are floppy and colored a dark brown. His face is very wolf-like in how his features are defined as fairly sharped. He has a spotted multi patterned black and pink nose and narrow, sharply shaped golden eyes. He is always seen wearing his collar which is a combination of rope and metal, as well as the green bandanna on his head.

Personality: Perseus is an adventurer always out and about seeking a new voyage into the sunset. He doesn't like to stay in one place as he grows bored fairly easily with normality, a trait that fits perfectly with his owner who is a sailor that enjoys taking his dog to many different exciting places. Perseus likes to make new friends whenever he can, often reaching a paw out to strangers he thinks look interesting. Like his father before him, he wears upon him a heart of gold and can't stand to turn someone in pain away. However, he is awkward with his emotions, not liking to seem vulnerable in front of others and so will mask his insecurities with wise cracking jokes and bravado. He can come across as a flirt to the ladies but in all honesty he doesn't really mean to. Perseus's patience can be pretty thin and he hates being told to wait around, he also can't stand stupidity despite the fact that he himself can be pretty thick headed at times. Regardless, he always tries his best even if he doesn't succeed the first time. Perseus likes to chill and go with the flow, making him easy to be around as he just oozes cool... or at least Percy likes to think he does!

Background: Perseus was born to Snowy and Maela alongside his siblings one evening. Welcomed into the world under the eyes of a proud Snowy, he was oblivious to just how harsh that world would become for the quarter wolf pups. Life started off happily enough for Percy and his family, he had his mother, his father and his littermates. However one day puppies all over Nome began to go missing, including Ammo and Cadeau. He wanted to help his parents find them but he was too young and small. Determinedly stupid as puppies tend to be, Percy wandered off from aunt Nikki's protective eye, having been left alongside his littermates Griswuld, Eliza and Lumikki in her care when Maela and Snowy made the dangerous journey to the Aok. He didn't get far though when he was picked up by a jolly hefty man of Italian breeding. Cuddled close, he endured the bombardment of sappy words only puppy loving humans could spew out. His fighting of it made him more endearimg, much to the pup's displeasure and growling. Perseus wasn't sure what to think as this human took him to his home, his mother warned him to be weary of them despite the fact his father was a pet. Finding he was unable to escape, be made due with the new living arrangements though missed his canine family very much. The human was a sailor and as a result he one day found himself very far from Nome, waking up to find he was surrounded by sea suddenly. Days turned to weeks and weeks turned into months and as if over night the puppy found himself growing into his yearling body. They went to locations that Perseus could only dream of, from bright cities to isolated tropical paradises, nobody back home would believe him if he told him the sights he had encountered. Adventure dulled his homesickness and brought out a persona in him that lay dormant. In a way he was grateful his master had picked him up from the streets of Nome like he had. Now a teen, he and his master return to Nome and though Percy likes his master he is anxious to find his family again to tell them he is ok.
