i was gonna use layer types to make it super crazy colors but it ended up messing up some of the coloring lines since some are more solid lines than others and it doesn't carry well on the other layer types. :c
his mouth was green and blue and his fur was blue too hahaha

Ah, I hate trying to color when the lines' opacity varies. The linework starts how I like it, but then it all sort of falls apart when the other colors come into play. Shame it didn't come out like you intended lol. Sounded pretty awesome actually! Still though, I'm impressed by how the earthy colors worked out; notably the slightly darker border around the mouth giving it a bit more definition. I'm still trying to work with colors and get some better looking base textures, but it still eludes me how to use them properly like you're able to do.

oh well lmao
i like the natural colors i gave him. I don't actually use textures. I've only used them a few times. what i do now is that i use the transfer setting on my brush in photoshop. it gives i opacity but it makes it look really nice and it feels like painting. (even though i hate painting with real paint!)
