Oh snapz. See, oh ye of little faith.

I say that cuz some people are saying "We say these things BECAUSE you suck, so you can get better!" and "Well, maybe instead of drawing, you sould write songs or poems or do something else."
Not that I'm putin' anybody down, but, you know, if someone said that to you, it would leave you feelin' some kinda way. You wouldn't have any motivation anymore cuz you know what people truely think. And it hurts!

But me, I'm as stubborn as an ass.

People have said those things to me at least twice on dA now but, I don't care. I think I've found my calling material.

Charcoal

I like charcoal because, well, mostly because of my Period 1 teacher (Mister R Gezzy! Heeeeey!^^)
Um, that is my Architecture and Design 1 class and he loves my stle. He knows I sell my art, he knows I got skillz, (Who don't??)
BUT,

he doesn't like smearing with pencil.

That's basically what I do and I'm goin' through a hard transition because, he wants us to shade in pencil. Now, if your artsy and stuff like that, you'll know the difference between smearing and shading. Big difference. No lie. But he lets us smear with Charcoal. (Thank GOD! )
He says he lets us smear with charcoal because it's naturally messy and you can get a great picture out of it (which is true) Thos of you who've worked with charcoal, ya'll know what I'm talkin' 'bout. The black stuff all over your arms and fingers.
Sometimes on your face.........and uniform......

But anyway, he let me have a piece and I decided to try it out and I think I'mma do more of my pictures this way cuz, that's how I want it to be. I like this cuz of the shading and the way it looks like it's from a book. I don't know.

You ever read those kinds of books that have some illustrations between the pages. I think they're Independant Reader books. But, I think this looks like that.

So, yeah, it's a messy material but, I'mma messy girl (Ain't that hard to believe?)

I'd like to thank Mr. Reingold (Mr. R Gezzy! Yea YEAH!) my 1st period teach.
