Another pic of everyone's favorite Pure Evil Kaiju whose sadly never been seen in a movie, Bagan!
While never seen in film and probably never Will be...sadly. He lives on in the hearts of many Godzilla fans...well a large amount anyway. XD

Curiously though, Bagan's name resembles, and might be derived from one of the Iranian, Sanskrit and Slavic words for "lord", "god", wealth (more probably the Iranian or Sanskrit ones though):
- Sanskrit - Bhaga - lord, patron, wealth, power
- Avestan and Old Persian - Baga - lord, patron, wealth, god
- Slavic languages - Bog - god, God, related to terms about wealth
Which fit's that in the original 1980 Godzilla/Bagan movie draft, Bagan was a corrupted guardian god, but even then he had outright demonic themes, since his final form was named Demon Beast - 魔獣 (Ma-jū), Demon God Beast - 魔神獣 (Majin-jū).
It is though interesting the original Devil-Kaiju has name maybe meaning "god", but these terms are tied if opposite, and in Indo-Iranian religion it changed which beings were consider gods/angels and demons/devils, as seen Deva and Asura conflict, if using different terms (ie Deva and Asura)(ie Asuras becoming in latter Vedic and Hindu beliefs demons to Deva's gods, and in Zoroastrianism Ahura's are angelic, while Daevas are devils/demons)
