I could see it:
Steve is on a date with Natasha, maybe taking her to his old neighborhood in Brooklyn, when all of a sudden, their date gets ruined by a call from Nick Fury, who asked them to investigate possible Hydra activity somewhere close by.
Next thing you know, it's confirmed that there is suspicious activity conducted by Hydra who, like Pinky and the Brain, is trying to make another (inevitably failed) attempt to take over the world.
And of course, this attempt is being led by Cap's archnemesis, the evil Red Skull!
