OPERATION GALACTIC STORM part 14:⁣
⁣
Now with a confirmation of a war between the alien empires of the Shi’ar and the Kree, The Avengers call an emergency meeting of all current team members and active reservists, totaling 24 super dorks. Yay! Meetings are exciting.⁣
⁣
A squad of Avengers East members had just rescued the scientist crew of the space station Starcore after it had been destroyed by another solar flare. This was confirmation that the Shi’ar star-gates in our solar system were causing damage to The Sun. Just as they made this realization, a massive Shi’ar fleet of ships exits the gate. The Avengers team, led by the Eternal Sersi, attack the lead ship and straight up threaten to murder them if they don’t surrender. At the meeting later, Captain America was a little bit peeved about this as “murder threats” aren’t really a big part of The Avengers charter.⁣

After a lot of talking and bickering, the team decides to take action. Three teams are divided up:⁣
⁣
A team to be sent to Kree Space: led by Captain America with Iron Man, Crystal, Sersi, Black Knight, Hercules, and USAgent.⁣
⁣
A team to be sent to Shi’ar space: led by Captain Marvel with Living Lightning, Wonder Man, Vision, Thor, Starfox and Scarlet Witch. ⁣
⁣
And a team left to defend Earth and guard their Kree & Shi’ar prisoners: led by Wasp with Gilgamesh, Falcon, Mockingbird, Quasar, Spider-Woman, Hank Pym, She-Hulk and Hawkeye.⁣

Hawkeye didn’t like being left on Earth and went old school. Breaking out his old Goliath costume and downing a quick dose of size-changing Pym Particles (provided happily by Hank), Clint Barton bullied his way onto the Kree team, displacing a very grumpy USAgent. Ha! Classic Clint Barton pettiness.
