Description This is my version of the second round of the Apo Round Robin. I kind of got a little carried away with this one, but it look like a piece of material to me. Done with Apo 2.08 3D Hack.

Full view for detail, as usual and download is 1600x1200.

I hope you like the image.

Also, for those who commented on the colors, here are the params for this flame. I hope you enjoy playing with this.

Thank you very much, Francis! This is one of the first Apos I ever did that I went "Yes!" I did some strong tweaking for this and was rewarded with this bright image. I submitted this to a fabric company so I can buy the material for a skirt or shirt or something. I may just buy a swatch to see how it would look as print material.

Thank you, Josette. I'm thrilled that you liked this enough to feature it! I would never turn down a feature. I can't imagine who wouldn't enjoy being featured by another artist. It shows appreciation for the artist's work and that really should make them feel good. I know it makes me feel good. You're a pussycat!

Thanks, Lilyas. I'm happy you like it and I really appreciate the feedback. I think this has been my most popular fractal to date. And it was by accident that I came up with it. But I find some of my best work are "accidents".

Absolutely Best gradient I've seen in a while There are so many muted earth tones out there, its good to see a psychedelic mind blower once in a while!

wolfepaw In reply to Capstoned [2009-02-25 07:10:36 +0000 UTC]

Thank you for the wonderful comment! It's actually one of my own gradients. And I've always had a thing for bright colors. Sometimes I wish I could get the hang of pastels or muted tones, but I always seem to come back to those eye-popping kind of colors. Must be from my college days back in the 70's.

Thank you ever so much for your kind words!

I really appreciate the feedback. I used a variation of one of my own gradients. I may post the params of this and you can copy them and get the gradient from them. I just saved it in a gradient pack I had uploaded awhile back ([link] ), but I may upload the newer version with some of the variations I've added to it. (Plus, I have another gradient pack I need to upload as well). But anyway, note me if I haven't yet posted the params here and you want the params with the gradient.

Yes, Lorrie, this is from the params you sent. I must admit, I changed all the bubbles to julians and removed the juliascope. I love juliascope, but I thought I would try something different. I am trying to get some different looks in my stuff. I have so much to learn and by doing these Round Robins, I am getting some very useful knowledge out of this.

Thanks for the great comment. I'm thrilled you like this.
