Description Playing with one of the flames from the new "Apo Pictionary - A Beginning" by *beeper52 . This resource is chock full of goodies, people. Also, for noobies who aren't familiar with the different styles, this is a must. Even old Apo hats might find it useful. Check it out and see for yourself. [link]

There is a pdf document telling who contributed, the plugins used, and what each flame is and who created it and any important resource used. There is also a folder of thumbnails of each of the flames and there are three flame packs (that's because there are 276 separate flames in the Pictionary).

Go check it out and give and big "Atta boy!" for a job well done.

Image done in Apophysis 2.08 3D Hack. Full view for detail and download is 1280x960.

Let me know how you like the background as opposed to the standard black.

Nice job. I like the background as it works very well with the colour scheme. I get tired of black as well. It has a sense of depth even though it is a face on image, but not so much as to overwhelm the felling of it being a shield. I like the variety of movement it has. What stands out for me is the lack of solid structure. The trend is to make all these solid structures as far as I have observed. This piece to me feels like a return to simpler times and in so doing it has a very big impact. It is always great to see artists exploring away from the trend.

Thank you so much for the in-depth comment! That would qualify as a critique. And a good one. I'm glad you liked the background. I thought it went better with the "sun" theme.
