Mentioned in the just-posted art dump that I was gonna post this one on it's own because I absolutely loved how it turned out. Captain Marvel was great and I freaking loved everybody and everything in it; Carol, Nick, Goose, Maria, Monica, the Kree, the Skrulls, they were all awesome. I think Carol's easily one of my favourite MCU characters so far now.

I drew this a couple weeks before actually going to see the movie, but I just never really got around to posting it. As mentioned before I absolutely LOVED how this one turned out. It's really simple, but I'm proud of it. Not sure what about it just makes me love it so much....Maybe it's just been so long since I've done anything traditional in colour, I don't know. Either way, I like it and wanted to post it on it's own.

I did tweak her design just a smidge. No disrespect the original creator's design, I think it's great and have no issue with it, but as I was looking for references, a picture of her comic-counterpart popped up and she has a sash around her hips rather than a belt. I got curious to see what it would look like with the new suit and I fell in love with the look. So when I draw her in her suit, I think I'm gonna have her keep the sash, if anything because it's really fun to draw.
