Ah well, I'm not even sure this scene was in the books but I just thought it was fun to draw x) My style has improved a lot since then so the faces of my old art can look a bit silly.

i won't tell you if she lived or not if you havent read the whole series, i really don't know if she didnt die in the very last book of the first series because my friends were like, oh she dies, and then when they actually read it, they said she didnt, then they said she did, then they said she didnt! XD

filter? what filter? what are filters?

Creyn In reply to wanton-fox [2010-09-29 23:08:01 +0000 UTC]
When you look at the picture, it has a papery look like it was made on paper. A general way of saying that is to say: "I used a paper filter" though it doesn't have to be paper to make it a filter. Just applying something over a piece of art that makes it look a little different, maybe a little more polished or stylized. For instance...
[link] used a coloring filter
There are many other effects, like making an image neon, making it look like you sketched it, and various others. A lot of them are on Photoshop and Photoshop Elements, and I think they're listed as filters as well from the drop-down menu. But if you change the color to a sepia, for instance, even if that isn't listed as a filter, technically it is. Also, if you make a piece of art (photos, drawings, etc) and put another image/piece of art over that and set the mode to a certain one that enhances the original artwork, then that second image/piece of art would be acting as a filter.
I'm no expert, so I may not be all right, but that is my definition of a filter for art.
