Yeah, the moon matches the character very well - Not only because the character is a wolf, but also because he seems like someone who prefers to work on the down low.
None of my gaming friends from college preferred Wolf, but one friend of mine preferred Fox. I prefer Yoshi.

Awesome work. Wolf is my favorite Starfox character. He's lots of fun to play as in Brawl. Though all he needs is his blue jacket with the spiked shoulder pads. But otherwise I love the overall image. Especially the moon behind him.

EUROPE HAS HAD BRAWL HELD UNTIL FALL (apparently) but some guy on 1up apologised + sed he made a mistake on his podcast (where most people got this idea from) and he estimated it would be near summer time-ish... altough nothing's been announced....
Either way my loyalty to Nintendo is declining if that's true....
