Well, here we have the Scavengers from the IDW Transformers comic "More Than Meets The Eye". They have only showed up in 2 issues so far but I already love this band of misfits. I hope they reappear soon (and live to tell the tale)! From left to right are Misfire, Krok, Spinister, Crankcase, Grimlock and Fulcrum. The characters are a lot of fun and the writing is sharp. Misfire's "...I am not one of those Decepticons" speech is one of my favorite quotes from the series so far. XD

Since the main part of MTMTE involves a ship full of (mostly) Autobots on a quest through space, I think the Scavengers provide a nice counterpoint of a Decepticon ship that is also on a quest through space- their quest is getting home alive!

On one of their planetary visits, I think either Misfire or perhaps Crankcase decided it would be cool to construct a "logo" and pose with it. It's not going so well, as you can see. Aaaand I have the feeling that Misfire is as bad at aiming a camera as he is a gun.
Where they got all these items, who knows, but they ARE scavengers, after all! But building an "S" out of bone-shaped Energon Biscuits may not have been the greatest idea, especially with Grimlock around.

(I may be slightly influenced here by AlbaAulbath's "Fool's Paradise", a fun fanfic featuring this crew. Now I think of Fulcrum as Grimlock's "keeper." )

Drawn in pen and ink, then colored in Photoshop. I hope I got everyone drawn and colored right- I would have greatly enjoyed a character turnaround for each of them where I could see details and colors. Sometimes it was hard to tell with the reference I had.
