I've been cracking down on overdue trades all spring break, so there will be more to come. Maybe tonight.Anyway, this is my half of a trade with .
That's a red fox skull in the background.
It's full of time and reaper references, and I thik the dice came from me listening to stuff from the Forbidden Zone soundtrack while I was in the middle of working on this.Prismacolor pencils, prismacolor markers, paint pens, and microns.

I love your use of color, I don't think I've seen anyone use color like you do. Its beautiful. I love all the creepyness and symbols and stuff! It reminds me of Dia de los muertos (day of the dead)!

This is absolutely incredible. I REALLY really love it!! It's so Boingo-y and Reapery and gorgeous! What marker did you use for her fur? Because you've hit the colour SPOT on and I don't even HAVE a marker that does that!!

did you just use a picture of one?
when i was in New Mexico last year i got the opprotunity to get a skull from a skinner who was just going to throw it away.
im in no way in favor of killing foxes, but since someone else had killed it and was planning on disposing the bones, the skull was a perfect free trinket for reference.

Absolutely gorgeous work, I really love how bold the color is in this peice and how you put together all the objects in the backround. The candle light blends beautifully into the backround
