Just a little someting for my Impulse~

now, some of you might be saying HOLSFAFWEE WTF? WHO IS DIS IMPULSE???

calm down child. LONG STORY ALERT! DUN READ UNLESS YOU WANT TO!! SKIP TO DA ENDDD PLZZ xD

OUR REAL NAMES ARE SUBSTITUTED AS FROSTY AND IMPULSE just cause of security reasons lol~

k, Impulse is a new wolf character I created for an extremely good friend of mine. He and I have known each other since the second grade. We have sooo many things in common, its scary.

Back in November, I...was starting to look at him in a different way. It felt weird cause we've known each other for practically our whole lives. Guess that's what high school does to you. xD Anyways, throughout elementary and middle school, kids would always tease us and say that "ohhhh look, Frosty and Impulse are datingg" and we would strongly say "NO."

It was November 12th, friday night, and it was the last football game of the season for our varsity high school team. He had never been to a game, so that night i dragged him along~ While we were waiting for the halftime show, (the only part of the game worth watching, yay marching band rocksss!) we decided to walk around under the grandstand (huge bleachers at football fields) and go to the park across the field. Randomly, these two annoying girls followed us, and eventually stopped us. "HEY ARE YOU GUYS GOING OUT??? LIEK, OMGGG!"

Ugh, the same question that people have always asked us..."NO WE ARE NOT."
"WELL YOU SHULD CAUSE, U GUISE R LIEK, SO CUTE TOGETHURR."
We glanced at each other and sighed. Impulse rolled his eyes and whispered, "hey, lets just ditch them." So we did. We ran off somewhere into the park, leaving them clueless on the field. Impulse looked into my eyes and said, "hey...i dont know about you, but i'm getting sick of people always wondering if we're going out. Why don't we just...'pretend' that we're going out so people'll shut up..."
"Yeah..." Something inside me wanted to not pretend and just date him for real.
"If this does develop into a real relationship, then i'm cool with it. If not, then we'll always be friends. Let's just lie low for awhile and tell people that we ARE going out, but we're really not."
To my luck, our relationship DID grow into something we weren't expecting. The week after, on November 18th, was our school's Battle of the Bands concert. Impulse was the lead singer of one of the participating bands. He was the only freshman in an all senior band, and this was his very first performance in front of a crowd. I had never heard him sing before, and I made sure to buy my ticket in advance, cause i didnt want to miss this night. the performance went well, and it was his bands turn to perform. i stood right in front, right next to the stage where he stood, and i was cheering him on. They started playing "Give It All by Rise Against" and they sounded amazing. It was voting time, and they had made it to the next round. Impulse almost died from the excitement. They kept moving up in the rounds and they made it to the finals. After an awesome cover of A Day To Remember's "Downfall of Us All", they placed first and won the Battle of the Bands, with the first place prize of $500.

After they won, Impulse ran into the crowd, gave me the biggest hug and lifted me off my feet, spinning me around. "We made it! We did it Frosty!!" "See I knew you could do it! You rocked the school down!!" After all the excitement wore off, i helped him pack his vocal equipment and we started walking to his mom's car.

That's when he popped the question. We set everything down and gazed into each other's eyes. "Frosty...? I've been meaning to ask you something..."
"Anything, my little rockstar..."
"It's been, what, a week since we've pretended that we were dating...?"
"Yeah..."
"I uhm...do you want to-"
"Yes Impulse, I do. I've been dying to these past few weeks but I was afraid of how you would react. I want to go out with you for real, Impulse."
We embraced in the dark parking lot of our school. I felt his breath at my ear. "I love you Frosty."
"I love you too Impulse."
He kissed me on the cheek, and I almost died.
From that day on, we've been together ever since. It felt like yesterday when I saw him perform with his band.

So I guess our relationship was kind of unexpected...but it's been great. Valentine's Day is coming up and our 3 month anniversary is on the same week <3 I hope that we'll be together forever~

lmao that was longer that i thought sorry, i just felt the need to write about this...

So that's the story of Impulse that i promised for you all back in the WIP for this. <3

This is Frosty and Impulse, lying together in Impulse's room. in real life, he has this big window in his room that let's the moon shine in and tint everything a peaceful blue...that pink thing on Frosty's leg is a "To Write Love On Her Arms" Day bracelet. I bought one at Hot Topic not too long ago. Story behind it here [link] (OMG NOVEMBER 12th.../dies. xDD)

my first real try at gradients on PS. it came out just the way i had imagined, and i am pretty darn satisfied
