Description
The M93 Advanced Combat Rifle was developed by the Deliquin Personal Defense Organization (DPDO) in 2093 and adopted as the primary rifle of the UMC (Union Marine Corps). The rifle uses the standard 4.2x50mm DPDO cartridge. The 4.2x50mm DPDO cartridge is a brass-cased, sabot-stabilized flechette rifle round. The civilian designation of the rifle platform is the SPER series. The M93 and its variants are known as the SPER v1 series. The M93 ACR utilizes a short-stroke piston system that has a countering piston incorporated to lessen recoil significantly.
