Description
The M109 Advanced Handgun was developed by the Deliquin Personal Defense Organization for use by senior officer ranks of the Interstellar Union's Marines. Having it been developed in the later half of the 12 year long Siege of Deliquin, the handgun is meant to be used as an emergency weapon or an alternative for special units of the Union Marine Corps (UMC).

The M109 Handgun fires the 7x20mm DPDO round. It is a flechette stabilized by a polymer sabot fired from a brass cartridge that maintains durability. This design choice was intentional to maintain armour piercing effectiveness by reserve units.

Despite the strenuous loss of Deliquin in 2112, the M109 escaped the planet and is still being used by the remnants of Interstellar Union (ISU) in their guerrilla operations in deep space.
