Pikapikapika desu ka?It depresses me that this game "Minna no Rhythm Tengoku" is region locked for the Wii. Cos y'know the localization's gonna take forever and have a considerable lack of Eeee, sugoi desu ne.

I know this was made long a go, but the wii can be made region free. I have all three regions of this game (each for individual reasons). In fact, I went back to playing the Japanese one just today! The wii has so many capabilities that Nintendo most likely didn't recognize.

I suppose that you are from USA, in Europe you can choose between English and Japanese songs.
(It must be due to the lack of other languages, as Spanish, German, Italian and French, but I still prefer to put the game in its original soundtrack, japanese, that any other languages, even over the one I use every day)

I'm a bit nervous about the dubbing as well. There's just so much to mess up this time around- the cheer squad, Remix 9 (which relies heavily on vocal-based levels), the Street Rap stages (They had BETTER not mess this one up or I'll be a VERY sad panda.) and this stage immediately come to mind.
So, mista Wonchop, what's your favorite stage so far? I like the BGM for Screwbots~

I don't quite get what you mean by a lack of "sugoi desu ne." Has that become the new phrase of just being inanely Japanese to replace "kawai"? The rest of the world uses Japanese differently, so please enlighten me.

Basically, the English version will have some English thingy in it that won't sound as epic as 'Eeeeh Sugoi desu ne?' since the English voices tend to not be as good. I prefer Rhythm Tengoku Gold to the English Rhythm Heaven any day.
Also picking up a Japanese console for the sake of one game would be a bit silly.

I'm actually quite impressed with the Rhythm Heaven localizations. The Fan Club song is as close to a spot-on translation as you could ask for, though the vocalist is quite naff.

But, what about such classic hits as, "γ©γΉγγΉγγΌγͺγΌ," or "γγ‘γγͺγΌγγ£γγ·γ³γ°"?
...yeah, you're right. They suck as bad as any English titles released recently. Doesn't stop the wii from being insanely popular in Japan.
