Wanted to draw a superhero guy running, then I gave him a shield, it kind of looked like the original Capt. America shield, so I reworked it to look like a badge. I think it came out pretty cool; maybe I’ll do a colored version.

The honor guard is another in the long line of shielded heroes, like Capt. America and those before him; he fights for the protection of the USA. having returned from Iraq pfc Jacob Solis was selected for a top secret military experiment, to create a better solider, a solider without fear and increased adrenaline, but in an mistake in the dosage caused a violent explosions leaving all records destroyed and making the Honor Guard the perfect hero to drum up support for America’s fighting forces while defending the states at home as its newest patriot hero.
