Description Serenity is 22" h x 16" d. This was inspired by a 7" d ceramic pot made by a San Il Defonso Indian named Tony Da, grandson of noted potter, Maria Martinez.

The body is segmented turning with layers of honduras mahogany, cherry, maple and walnut. The neck is ornamentally turned maple with a sculpted fetish bear of Mexican Ironwood. The pot also contains inlaid turquoise, coral and sterling silver, and utilizes engraving.

The 50" circumference is a continuum showing a hunter with an ornamental spear, whose shield morphs into a 180 degree Blanket pattern, which in turn morphs into the shield of another hunter carrying a quiver of arrows. This transitions into the turtle, which ties back to the first hunter.

Has Tony Da seen this? I think he would behappy. I thaught that this was one of Tony's until I read about it. Great job.
